The event will be organized under the following FIG rules, as valid in the year of the event, except for any deviation mentioned in these directives:

AGE LIMITS

FRENCH OPEN SENIORS : FIG rules 2013 - 2016
• IW, IM, MP, TR, GR : FIG rules (18 & over)
 
FRENCH OPEN JUNIORS (15 – 17 years) : FIG rules (AG2)
• IW -  IM – MP – TR  - GR       
 
FRENCH OPEN ESPOIRS (12 – 14 years) : FIG rules  (AG1)
• IW -  IM – MP – TR  - GR
 
FRENCH OPEN AERO DANCE : FIG rules and FFG rules (18 years old and over, 8 competitors)

JUDGES AND JURIES

Each federation registered must send 1 or 2 judges with a current valid FIG brevet in French Aerobic Open.

In case of not having a judge, the amount of 1 000.00 euros must be paid to the French Gymnastics Federation.

EVENT FORMAT

Qualifications 
FRENCH OPEN
The maximum number of competitors in qualification rounds is TWO per category and per nation and ONE for Aerodance and AeroStep.
 
Finals
FRENCH OPEN SENIORS
The 7 best competitors of DELEGATIONS in each category (maximum 2 per nation).

The 3 first French competitors in each category after the qualification rounds
will participate in Finals as this Aerobic OPEN is also the National Championships.
 
FRENCH OPEN JUNIORS (AG2 : 15 – 17 years)
The best 8 competitors of DELEGATIONS in each category (maximum 2
per country) from the qualifying rounds will participate in Finals, including 1
French competitor at least.
 
FRENCH OPEN ESPOIRS (AG1 : 12 – 14 years)
The best 8 competitors of DELEGATIONS in each category (maximum 2
per country) from the qualifying rounds will participate in Finals, including 1
French competitor at least.
 
FRENCH OPEN AERO STEP & AERO DANCE
The 7 best  teams of DELEGATIONS
The first 3 French teams of the national championships will participate in the Final of the French Aerobic OPEN
 
In case of less than 7 nations, French teams will complete the final.

MEDICAL SERVICES

Emergency service and emergency vehicles on the site throughout the competitions.

FIG LICENSE

No gymnasts will be accepted without a valid FIG License.

AWARDS

            1st place :       Medal of 1st place
            2nd place :       Medal of 2nd place
            3rd place :       Medal of 3rd place
 
• A diploma of participation will be given to all members of the delegations.
 
• A diploma of FINALISTS will be given to all Finalists.
